What does logo design cost for a small business?
Effective and last updated: September 3, 2026
$280 for a logo plus the files, colours and fonts you need everywhere else.
A logo on its own is half a job, and the missing half is what causes the second bill. The stacked version for a van, the square icon for a profile picture, transparent files for print and for web, and the colour and font codes written down, so whoever prints your signage or builds your site never has to guess or ask you to pay someone to re-draw it.
What people ask
- Why not five dollars from a marketplace? Because you usually receive one flat image, no editable source file and no rights you would want to rely on, and the re-draw costs more than doing it once.
- How many options? Three directions first, then two revision rounds on the one you choose.
- Can you trademark it? No. We do not file trademarks and design work does not clear a name for you; that is a lawyer's job and we will say so rather than take the money.
What the price includes
- Primary logo, a stacked version, and an icon for profile pictures
- Files for print and web, including transparent backgrounds and SVG
- Colour palette and two font choices, with the codes written down
- Three initial directions, then two revision rounds on the one you pick
Turnaround: 5 business days
What this costs elsewhere
The going rate we measured for this work is $350. Ours is $280, so you keep $70. Every price on this site is published rather than quoted after a discovery call, and it is the same number for everybody.
