How much should a 5-page website cost?
Effective and last updated: September 3, 2026
Between $400 and $2,000 for a five-page website, written, built and published on your own domain.
Five pages is the shape most new businesses actually need: home, services, about, contact, and one page for the thing you most want to sell. The bottom of the range is exactly that site. It climbs from there with pages beyond five, online booking, payments, a shop, or a members area, and you are told the figure on the call before anything starts.
What people ask
- Do I have to write it? No. The words are written for you from one round of questions, which is the step most quotes quietly leave to the customer and then wait on for a month.
- Do I own it? Yes. The domain and the hosting are set up in your name and billed to you by the provider, usually under $20 a month, so nothing is held hostage if you leave.
- Is there a monthly fee to us? Only if you want one. Ongoing care is $72 a month and is optional; the site works and stays online without it.
- Why is it cheaper than the agency quote? One person and a model do the parts that used to take a team. There is no account manager to pay for, and we would rather say that than pretend the work is somehow bigger here.
What the price includes
- Five pages: home, services, about, contact, and one page for your main offer
- Written for you - you do not have to supply the words
- Mobile and desktop layouts, and a contact form that reaches your inbox
- Your domain connected, SSL on, and the site actually published
- Page titles, descriptions, headings and image alt text filled in properly
Turnaround: 7-10 business days from the day you send your content
What changes the price: A five-page brochure site is the bottom of the range. The price climbs with pages beyond five, online booking, payments or a shop, a members area, or a custom design instead of a tailored theme. You get the exact figure on the call, before anything starts.
Hosting and domain are billed by the provider directly, usually under $20 a month. We set them up in your name so you own everything.
What this costs elsewhere
The going rate we measured for this work is $500 - $2,500. Ours is $400 - $2,000, so you keep $100 - $500. Every price on this site is published rather than quoted after a discovery call, and it is the same number for everybody.
