The Consult Line is a free phone line for people running small businesses in the United States. You call, describe what you are working on, and get one clear thing to fix next. Ten minutes. No booking, no card, no account.

Who runs it

Alex Daskalov. I build websites, business plans and small automations for owner-run businesses, and I publish what each of those costs on the services page rather than making you ask.

An AI answers the phone

It is not a person, and we say so at the start of every call rather than letting you work it out. It listens, asks what it needs, and gives you a specific recommendation. What it cannot do is pretend — if the answer is "you do not need to buy anything", that is what you get.

A human builds whatever you decide to buy. That is the whole arrangement: a machine that is good at listening and free to run, and a person who does the work.

Why it is free

Because most callers do not need us, and the ones who do would rather have talked to us first. We would rather be the line you remember than the invoice you regret.
